Baptism and the Lord's Supper

We believe that Christian baptism is the immersion in water of a believer. (Acts 2:41) The Lord's Supper is the commemoration of the death of the Lord Jesus, preceded by solemn self-examination. (1 Corinthians 11: 23-31). Learn more.

The Church

We believe that a visible church of Christ is a congregation of baptized believers associated by covenant in the faith and fellowship of the gospel. We observe the ordinances of Christ, are governed by His word and exercise our gifts.

Salvation

We believe that salvation is the gift of God's grace. It cannot be gained or made more secure by meritorious works, but is freely bestowed upon all who put their faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ at Calvary. All who so trust the Savior are forgiven of their sins and born into the family of God by the regenerating work of the Holy Spirit. (John 1:12; Acts 16:30-33; Rom. 10:9,10; Eph. 1:7, 2:8-9)

Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit is a person, is God, and has all the divine characteristics. He indwells all believers and seals them at the moment of salvation. He fills them in response to confession of sin and surrender to Him.

A Message From Our Pastor

Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus Christ was sent by God the Father into the world to save sinners. We believe that Jesus Christ was virgin born, sinless in life and mighty in words and deeds. We believe Jesus was both God and man, that He was crucified for our sins, and was bodily raised from the dead. He then ascended to His Father’s side where He is head of the church and intercedes for believers. We believe Jesus Christ is coming again personally, visibly and bodily to reign as Lord.

We believe that God exists eternally in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. These three are one God. We believe God created the universe by His Power and Word. We believe that God is all knowing, all powerful and ever present. (John 4:23-24; Matt. 28:19)

We believe that the Bible is the Word of God, divinely inspired (2Timothy 3:16); that it is inerrant in the original manuscripts and preserved by God for us; that it is authoritative for this church and each of us for every age.
