Nursing Home Ministry at First Baptist Church

The hope of First Baptist Church is that everyone of all ages has the opportunity to hear the gospel, and have personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Every Monday a group from our church goes to nearby the local nursing home to offer encouragement, sound Gospel preaching, and Gospel music.

Purpose



It is a time to uplift the elderly, show the love of Christ, and reach a people often forgotten by friends, neighbors, and sadly even sometimes their family. We sing many of the great hymns of our faith, have a brief devotional and have prayer together.
